Every Sunday is ‘Family Day’at the Pinakothek der Moderne. It’s when children over the age of five can enjoy themselves drawing, painting and making things together in small groups led by experienced art appreciation experts – and this without having to register, and as long as there is a place free for them to take part. It gives children the opportunity to find inspiration in the museum’s art and design themes, on which short, guided tours through the exhibitions are held.
